As my first official post it seems apt to start with the first wine I was introduced to at an early age!

Yesterday I was delighted to attend the Austrian Wine Tasting in London – As my parents met in Seefeld, Austria I grew up on Pinot Blanc from the Lenz Moser winery and pleased to have tasted their wines yesterday.

Lenz Moser began in 1049 and is home of the  “Lenz Moser high Training System”, last year whilst preparing a flight of the Chinese Château Changyu wines for a Decanter tasting I unexpectedly met Lenz Moser (present generation) who has been consulting for this producer since 2005 with his ambition for Chinese wine to be one of the world’s top players – watch this space!
